Tomorrow is our 16th annual Easter Eat Pray Swim event. Great time for families to come out and see what the attraction is to their other family member that keep disappearing early in the mornings to come to do the mysterious lake swim. We’ll have a rousing Easter service followed by a lake swim and then a breakfast feast waiting for swimmers when they are done. Of course, while the swimmers are swimming, family members can take part in the breakfast feast as well. Sunrise tomorrow is at 7:11 a.m. Parking is going to be a little tight, so come early. It’s fine to bring friends. All money collected through offerings will be donated to the local Edgewood children’s ranch.

Water temperature should be in the mid 70s, so it’s perfect for swimming with or without the black sausage suits.

Additionally, for those budding swim coaches out there Lake Highland Master Swim Team is looking for a on deck coach two to three days a week. Lake Highland Master Swim Team swims Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the mornings for about an hour and a half. Pay is approximately $30 per session. So if you have a passion for swim coaching this would be a great opportunity to break into the coaching scene and make a little bit of beer money on the side. If you are interested, talk to Lucky, and he will put you in touch with the people in the know.
