If you have read our previous blog post, you will know that there was an unfortunate tragedy at the lake swim on Friday morning. I would like to thank everybody that has reached out letting Jacquie and myself know how much Joy and positive life changes our swim brings to the open water swimming community. It has helped us immensely. I have been told that the working diagnosis for Henry was a pulmonary embolism (for the non medical folks that is a blood clot that suddenly migrates to the lungs). If that is confirmed by the medical examiner, that would help make more sense of the events that occured Friday morning. By all accounts Henry was a wonderful person and I know that the entire Lake swimming community is sending out prayers to his wife Meri and family members for their sudden and unexpected loss. Lucky
