The bad news is the air temp is going to be a brisk (F-ing cold if you are a Floridian) 42 degrees, however the water temp will still be in the 70s (so as long as you don’t lift your head out of the water you will be fine).

They have not decided on a final title for the news segment yet, but the three top ones being thrown around are:
1. Black sausage suits return to Lucky’s Lake Swim, nature’s winter migration.
2  Uncomfortable things you can do in Florida only 3 months a year that you can do year round up north.
3. Swimming in the cold – Mental illness or idiocy. You decide.

Come out and join us. This is your opportunity for superstardom or finally meeting your deductible in the ER for hypothermia. Rumor has it there will be talent scouts out looking for actors for the upcoming movie. “Swimming Antarctica: No Survivors – The World’s Most Horrifying Swim“.

So here’s the good news!
1. The hot tub is working!
2. It’s too cold for the gators!
3. Tuesday is Veterans Day! (I don’t know how this pertains, but I needed one more item to make a nice round list of three).

So come out and join us tomorrow morning. That’s Monday at 6:30 a.m. ( Oh wait, Just figured a better one to fill out that #3 in place of Veterans Day. “Tuesday the water will be colder”, that pertains. Love it, I’m a genius.)

Lucky promises no wetsuit shaming will be allowed … by people wearing wetsuits. However, if you’re not wearing a wetsuit feel free to shame away.

Disclaimer: This post has been reviewed by a panel of marketing experts. In a unanimous vote, they all decided that this post, if it was to encourage people to come out and swim in the cold on Monday, has completely missed its mark.

Let’s prove those experts wrong, see everyone in the morning!
