Tomorrow is the Zombie Swim—sign up now! This is our most talked-about, and most trash-talked-about, swim that we host at Lucky’s Lake Swim.
If you are a connoisseur of Dr. Seuss, then you will know there are only two types of Sneetches: the star-bellied Sneetches and those without stars. Those with stars felt they were better than those without, and looked down upon them. Those without stars wished they had stars on their bellies. Now, the story goes on from there, and it’s a very good one if you haven’t read it. However, I will stop right there and just use this analogy:
If you are signed up for the Zombie Swim, you are a star-bellied Sneetch. If you are not signed up, then you have no star on your belly. Think of Doc Lucky as McMonkey McBean, who is giving you one last chance—for those Sneetches without stars—to finally get a star on their bellies. I’m sure we will get a cease-and-desist order from the estate of Dr. Seuss for writing this, but it will be worth it if you sign up for the Zombie Swim.

As a side note, Lucky will be on the TV show Collectors’ Call on MeTV this Sunday at 6:30 PM. He will be showing off his massive yo-yo collection on national TV. If you have the opportunity, in between watching football games, check it out. Watching the show will not count as extra crossings—except for Ron Davis, who will count it as two crossings whether we want him to or not.

The Zombie Swim is tomorrow, Saturday evening at 7:30 pm. You must supply your own zombie defense weapons. Just kidding. You must survive by stealth alone… Good luck with that.

Lucky will be on national TV this Sunday at 6:30 pm. This is on the show called “Collector’s Call,” which is on Memorable Entertainment TV, which is found on most cable networks. If you watch with your spouse, they will gain a new appreciation for you because you could collect something like Lucky does and you choose not to.
