Fifty folks swam into the new year and the water temp was 75 Woo Hoo!

Ray Wiss from Northern Ontario (that even sounds cold just saying the words) where it is 25 degrees below zero today, was our first new swimmer for 2016. You may wonder why the wetsuit? In Northern Ontario everyone wears one underneath their winter clothes to keep from dying from cold exposure, so this is kind of like our version of swimming nude, strange but a true fact.
Ah, the leg-endary Christmas Story lamp… I’d say that I’d love to have one myself, but even though I love A Christmas Story, I have to admit it really is quite atrocious. I think I’d regret receiving one almost immediately after I set it up, lol.
