Woo Hoo! we have had many married couples swim the lake and we have had folks meet at the lake and later tie the knot, but we just had our first engagement proposal before the start of todays lake swim (Yes, there will be a badge for this).  Many congrats to David Head and Kimberly Hawkins.  Kim is a staple of this lake swim community and most certainly in the 1000k club (but she doesn’t count her crossings – probably because she is an artist) see photos below.
