Yes, the long awaited (that’s if Lucky owed you a shirt and you were waiting) 200K club shirts are in, and with a design change to boot.  Yes, the shirts are even more awesome than the original design (see the shirt image below).  This brings up a problem, as many  wish to upgrade but have already received their free shirt (or in the case of Ron who is the only person to have made the 200K club on three different occasions for the first time – three shirts) so we will allow anyone to get a new shirt that is already in the 200K club for a $20 donation to the Lake Cane Restoration Society (checks preferred and placed in the donation fish bowl at the wall-of-fame).  If you are already in the 200K club you can get the new shirt (or more than one) by this method.  For anyone not in the 200K club same old deal you get it free when you earn it. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!  There are also 2000K club shirts as well.  Any member of the 2000 K club can pick up their shirt this week, at any morning swim (yes it’s a snobby thing they get their’s first).  200K club shirts will be distributed starting Saturday’s swim.

We will also have a special signing ceremony for Jay Madigan on Saturday as he has been unable to locate his name on the wall-of-fame and now has over 500 crossings. He has searched now over six months and offered large cash prizes ( now up to 1 dollar and 73 cents) for anyone to locate his name. We will show mercy and allow him to sign so his name so it can be properly haloed.

The 200K club shirts have writing on the back to make them even more awesome. Dave prefers writing on the butt of his Speedo – that’s okay as it takes all types to make the world a more interesting place.

The “mad” Russian Alec Rukosuev is now on the wall-of-fame. He is the only person I know that has made a US Olympic trial cut in two sports swimming and running. This has made him a pretty decent tri-guy 8:36 Hawaii Ironman – smoking fast.
