Many thanks to all the volunteers that worked the pancake breakfast Saturday morning. It was another very successful event and over $2000 was raised to help Gene out with his medical expenses (and that was just at the event). You guys are awesome! Conrad Dale signs the wall-of-fame. Conrad is the Team USA center forward for the upcoming 19u underwater hockey world championships and is living with Lucky and family until worlds. Sam Mariani and Jake Meisenheimer are also teammates and lake swimmers.
5 star dining at it’s best. I was going to give it 4 stars but then someone found me the salt shaker.
The now famous “help Gene” calendar ( we are not counting the days until Ron tells us he has earned a 200k shirt) but marking off the days to cover Gene’s medical expenses for a year.
I know at first glance it looks like the Justice League of America or maybe the Avengers, but no, on second glance we see it’s the breakfast volunteers at Lucky’s Lake swim. Our own group of superheroes. Please comment and give these superheroes appropriate superhero names. For instance I think we should call the guy with the plate of food “200K man” and he has 3 uniforms to prove it.
