Holiday Swim Times:

Saturday July 4th morning swim 7:45am
Saturday July 4th  Jacquie and Lucky’s annual fourth of July party.  Your family and if you have friends they are welcome too.  Starts at 5pm.  Bring something to throw on the grill and a side dish to share. BYOB.  World Water Volleyball championship around 8pm (There will be no trash talk this year – yeah right). Fireworks whenever Universal decides to shoot them off. We will do some of our own as well, but we will not be shooting off bottle rockets from people’s butts, unless Dave Heffernan attends.

For those that don’t have the coveted midnight swim patch this is your only chance until 2016.

Here are the rules for the Midnight Swim:
1. You must watch the whole movie and do the swim to get the patch. (Movie is Te Be Announced)  No watch movie – NO PATCH FOR YOU!
2. First time dark swimmers must swim with floatation regardless if you have multiple crossings in daylight.
3. You may bring refreshments for the movie (but please don’t bring alcohol – I know most of the films we show need alcohol to enjoy, but we don’t want a bunch of drunk swimmers chumming in the lake.)
4.You may wear a light (makes it easier for the lake cane monster to spot you).
5.The Ironman is doing the Friday am swim, the midnight swim and the Saturday AM swim. You do all three we take your picture (oh wow that changes everything).

Movie starts at 9:30 PM. You must watch the movie and do the swim to earn your patch. All swimmers must be comfortable swimming in the dark with large aquatic monsters to participate.

Lucky explains to a potential midnight swimmer that she must use floatation for her first three dark swims no matter how many daylight swims have been done.
