Sorry that the lake heater is on the fritz . . . if you don’t like it, your only options are to start burning more fossil fuels or get a wet suit. If you choose the fossil fuel option I am hoping for Lucky’s ocean front open water swim in about 30 years.

Kathleen Fitzgerald is our most recent record breaker, setting the standard for the women’s 60-64 age group with a time of 21:32. Most records are safe for the next couple of months due to the no wetsuit rule, but then again a crazy northerner may show up.

Jay got his 150K club cap but still hasn’t got a halo of yellow around his name because he can’t remember where he signed the wall of fame. We’ll help you look when you hit 500.

Mark Ferris came all the way from Australia to swim the lake . . . and to drink all of John Collingwood’s beer. He succeeded in both is my understanding.

Ron becomes the first Canadian to get a 150 K club cap. I hope he gets knighted for that. I may call him Sir Ron anyway just because it sounds cool.
