Thanksgiving Day Nov 28th …7:45 AM (If you swim this morning you can have seconds without regret later that day.)

Congratulations to Mary Holloway new record holder in the 65-69 women’s age group with a time of 30:26 and Julio Suarez who dropped his own record in the 40-44 age group to a 14:13 ( This is the 5th fastest swim on the top ten list)

Not to late to name a carp! You can become a part of pop culture for a measly ten bucks. Check the names out here!

Digger makes it into the 500K club! He received a new collar and an engraved dog tag for his efforts. Strong work Digger! Fans of digger – Kate and Paul look on and supplied cheers and applause during the long ceremony. Now, for the folks that say they want a dog collar instead of the silver 500 K club cap, the answer is NO. We want to keep the swim caps in the water and the dog collars in the bedroom where they belong.

I know that there are a few of you that are worried about alligators, please watch this video to be worried about something else (no it’s not the piranha video and no the photo above has nothing to do with the video).

Congrats to Dylan Kunkel who set the 10 and under record with a time of 36:32. All the men’s age groups now have records except for the 70-74 age group – Ron, it’s time to man up and I will not accept your verbal time of 12:57 that you remember from last week when you were doing your 200th crossing.

Congrats to Duck. He is now in the 200 K club (and he’s only 6 months old). He wanted custom fitted apparel, I got him this sign instead and he is not happy.

I tried to appease Duck since he was not happy with the award sign. Told him I would build him a house. He said he wanted a condo in south beach. I got him this cute bungalow instead. He immediately took a dump in the living room. It’s very hard to please a duck as I am finding out.

A great time to play underwater hockey is this wednesday and friday at 7:15 pm at the YMCA aquatic center. I just posted an article on UWH gear for the newbie which might be of some interest for those thinking about joining us. No problem if you don’t have gear yet, we have loaner gear so come on out and play.
Lucky, This is my kitty Chewbacca and if you don’t change the typo on the carp list from Todd to Brad then I’m going to bring Chewy with me next time and film him eating Duck! (And probably Hanna, Snickers and Duncan too.) and all 100 Darryl’s!

I have made the change and fired myself for doing such a lousy job. No worries, after sleeping on it I had compassion on myself and rehired me, but at half the wage.
