Kudos to all the lake swimmers that pitched in on “Help Gene out Day”. Gene is very appreciative. Lake swimmers are the best people.
The water is clear and still in the 80s it is a great time to be swimming the lake. If it has been awhile come on out.
Congratulations to Alyce Vogel who celebrated her 81st birthday with a lake swim. Alyce bolted before I could get a photo. Darn her! Probably late to her appointment for doing 1000 pushups.

A big thanks to all of our swimmers that showed up for “Help Gene Out Day” HGOD. Please notice everyone was looking at the camera except for Ron, who was apparently looking for rings on the ground. Knowing Ron he probably found three.
We all know Sam is rumored to swim with a bag a gator chum, just so she can get an opportunity to wrestle a big one. But, this is more crazy. She danced the Macarena on the edge of Geno’s roof until she was exhausted and had to sit down. While she was resting she cleaned some leaves out of the gutter. When I left she was back dancing.
Johnny Kayak the Carribian rep for Ocean Potion Suncreen swam the lake for the first time.
He was telling this 18 year old swimmer if she had used Ocean Potion she wouldn’t have such alligator like skin. Lucky says “sunscreen is good for you, but very bad for my business”. Please help support Lucky’s kids through college and don’t wear sunscreen, many thanks.
