Sorry, but I have to blame the my grievous typographical error on brain eating ameba (I tried to blame it on Obamacare, but no matter how I tried it just wouldn’t work). Yes, my previous blog posting of the Saturday swim time was incorrect. Saturday we are NOT swimming in the evening at 7:45PM, we will be swimming at our normal MORNING swim time of 7:45am (Thank you astute readers for pointing this out too me. Quite frankly I am impressed that people actually read the blog. I promise to be more careful about what I write since I say snarky things about lake swimmers that I didn’t realize could read.) The only swim time that has changed is on Labor Day (monday) the swim will be at 7:45 AM. Sorry for the confusion.

Saturday’s swim is 7:45AM not PM. , but the ban on swimming tapirs is still in effect. Do not bring a swimming tapir with you.

I hate to say it but Ron is a treasure hunting god. Ron found Don’s lost wedding band in 10secs (and that included a beer break). That makes 5 rings found by Ron for 5 Lucky’s Lake Swimmers. That means there were 5 guys that had a great excuse to go to a bar without their wedding band and Ron ruined it for them. Sorry guys, next time try to lose your ring in a field of pull tabs.

Historic Photo from Lucky’s Lake Swim (1991) A BIG Saturday morning swim. I think we broke into double digits that day with 12 swimmers. We took the photo to document the big crowd.
You are so funny!
