No this photo was not photoshopped! Lucky's duck named "Duck" does like sitting on his shoulder especially after a long swim. So move over Digger we got another species on the Wall of Fame for doing the 1K swim. Lucky had to bribe him over to the other side with string cheese.

The Midnight swim and movie went off without a hitch.  The movie “Bait” was actually kind of fun to watch and the water temp for the swim was a perfect 82 degrees, which we don’t often see in July.  Over 80% of the swimmers were first time midnight swimmers and six folks were all around first time swimmers.  If you did complete the swim, but your friends don’t believe you, then you can direct them to this video of the swim start, which documents your complete lack of common sense. SEE VIDEO CLICK HERE

First crew out of the water for the midnight swim were Julio, John and Tom. All were first time midnight swimmers. Little known fact * All three were rooting for the shark in the movie shown prior to the swim.

Lucky could not do the swim because Audrey brought over an (awesome) blackberry cobbler and he ate all most all of it during the movie proving that all bad decisions have consequences.

Tom and son came all the way from Colorado to do the midnight and lake swim for the first time. Winning the award for most distance traveled to make the swim.

Only three swimmers had the necessary mental deficits required to do both the midnight swim and then the 7:45AM swim later in the morning. Congratulations to Kent, Audrey and Mark, please reach out for help from a qualified professional.

This event confirms that the apocalypse approaches. Fred Ehmke finally made the 100K club. After years of slowly knocking off swims about every 3rd or 4th weekend (he lives in Tampa) he finally made it. Not bad for a sprinter who bitches about any race longer that 50 meters.
