Happy new year to all our Lucky Lake Swim swimmers! We had s several swimmers turn out for the new year swim this morning. The water temperature was 62°. Four brave souls did the swim without wetsuits – Hugh, Mi, George, and Lucky. The wetsuits swimmers (if you can call swimming in a wetsuit “swimming”) will remain unnamed to hide their shame, as for the rest of you, sleeping in your warm beds with the haze of the midnight drunken stupor swirling in your heads, a pox on you.
Hope to see all of you soon. We are back to our regular swimming schedule.

Thanks to Ron Davis who volunteered to be our latest zombie. It was easy photographing Ron as we didn’t have to apply any makeup (no lie). He also didn’t complain when I ran him though the chest wall with the sword. He also tells me he is getting close to earning his 200K shirt. Way to go Ron.
