Yes we are having many foggy mornings, but folks are still swimming. We do have the Audrey rule in place. On fog days you must swim with a buddy (not our mascot gator “Buddy”) but a swimmer about the same speed as you. The water temp has been hovering in the high 60s, so not so bad with the wetsuits on, and remember the hot tube is fired up.
Congrats to Robert Ison who is now in the 100K club. He scooted before I could get his photo, but his name now has the halo of yellow around it.
We are doing a team photo for the YCF Underwater Hockey Club this coming Wednesday for an article for the Orlando Family Magazine. If you have ever played with us come on over to the Aquatic Center and join us for a photo shoot and a dip underwater (7:15 PM at the YMCA Aquatic Center). See our Blog

Join us for a photo shoot Wednesday at 7:15 Pm at the YMCA Aquatic Center. If you have played with us or thinking about playing come on over.
Lauren Johnson an out-of-towner that has joined us for a lake swim now has a book out titled Tri-Hard. Its available on Kindle so check it out Tri-Hard by Lauren Johnson. My understanding is when they make it into a movie Bruce Willis will play the lead.
Vacation Schedule: is on the previous post.
You have not requested it, so here it is like spam email- the zombie video of the week. “Introducing Headshot” starring four of our lake swimmers as zombies and John VII my son who is about the fastest lake swimmer we have, when I can pry him out of the bed, which is almost never (he swam the lake the first time at 8 and still doesn’t have his white cap).

Watch the Zombie Cause video of the week starring some of our lake swimming zombies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=honA075qlWY
Thank you, Lucky! I just want to warn people that the book is not for children due to sexual dialogue (not explicit, but certainly not child-appropriate). The novel is about a young woman with body image problems who signs up for a triathlon as the consequence of losing a bar bet. In the process of training for the triathlon, she regains her fitness and self-confidence and befriends a whole group of energetic people in the “Tri-Hard” triathlon club. She also meets her soul-mate.
